Ryan Gidluck, P.Eng., PMP, Vice President
Ryan offers over 20 years of industry experience to CEA. He believes that the engineering industry has an important role to play in society, and agrees that CEA has a duty to promote a high level of trust between member firms and the public. “I am very excited to be elected to the Consulting Engineers of Alberta Board of Directors for a three year term. The focus of the CEA is to support member firms and the CEA is an important voice for consultants active in our industry.”
Ryan graduated from the University of Saskatchewan in 1996 with a degree in Civil Engineering. During his career, he has been fortunate to work on a variety of engineering projects, managing the design, procurement and construction of transit infrastructure, roads and bridges, buildings, storm water ponds, underground and overhead utilities and intelligent transportation systems. Ryan has a proven track record of delivering strong results in safety, quality and project management.
In addition to CEA, Ryan is an active member of the Project Management Institute and Engineers Without Borders.
In Alberta, nearly 10,000 individuals, including professional engineers, technologists and support staff, are employed by engineering firms. CEA is a registered not-for-profit organization that represents Alberta’s engineering firms, and is responsible for promoting and enhancing the business interests and opportunities of its member firms as well as providing society with the highest standards of engineering design and safety.
