Laura Rogers Wins Young Mission Critical Engineer of the Year

Laura Rogers was announced as the winner of the Young Mission Critical Engineer of the Year award by Data Center Dynamics (DCD) on Thursday, December 6th. The gala ceremony took place at the Lancaster Hotel in London, UK, hosted by comedian Deborah Frances-White.

This is the second year in a row that a young Morrison Hershfield employee has won. The future of the data center industry depends on the young people it attracts. This category, featured for twelve years, has attracted more interest than ever from all across the globe from those vying to win the precious accolade.

The award was sponsored and presented by Google’s Vice-President of Data Centers, Joe Kava. Before announcing the winner Joe Kava had this to say: “Of my leadership team, 50% are women.”

Laura Rogers is truly 'one to watch.' Her market knowledge, technical strengths, drive for personal growth and well-honed skill-set made her the judges’ favorite. Committed to continuous improvement, Laura is always looking for ways to add value at work and for her clients.
