Laura Rogers Wins Young Mission Critical Engineer of the Year

Laura Rogers was announced as the winner of the Young Mission Critical Engineer of the Year award by Data Center Dynamics (DCD) on Thursday, December 6th. The gala ceremony took place at the Lancaster Hotel in London, UK, hosted by comedian Deborah Frances-White.

The future of the data center industry depends on the young people it attracts. This category, featured for twelve years, has attracted more interest than ever from all across the globe from those vying to win the precious accolade.

The award was sponsored and presented by Google’s Vice-President of Data Centers, Joe Kava. Before announcing the winner Joe Kava had this to say: “Of my leadership team, 50% are women.”
