Congratulations to Jeremy Carkner, P.Eng., LEED® AP BD+C on his recent election to the Board of Directors for the Consulting Engineers of Ontario.
Jeremy is a Principal and Senior Building Science & Sustainability Specialist at Morrison Hershfield with over 15 years of experience in the consulting engineering field. He is our P3 Practice Lead for Vertical Infrastructure in Canada and is the Director of Business Development for the Mechanical/Electrical, Code/Life Safety and Sustainability Business Unit. Jeremy has gained a strong appreciation for clients’ engineering needs across a wide variety of sectors, and believes the profile of consulting engineers should be continually elevated within industry and the public at large, particularly in light of our major contributions to infrastructure and buildings that serve society.
Jeremy is passionate about consulting engineering work and the betterment of society through engineers’ expertise and management. He is equally passionate about engaging the next generation of leaders alongside current industry champions. Over his three year term, he will seek to develop, challenge and inspire meaningful transformation to consulting engineering in Ontario through targeted and consistent effort with his industry peers.
