Konrad Fichtner left a powerful legacy of knowledge and kindness with the Solid Waste Management sector and at Morrison Hershfield. Although he passed away two years ago today, the lessons he taught have left a lasting impression and we endeavor to carry on the work he started.
Morrison Hershfield is an ambitious firm with ambitious people! Staff continuously expand their knowledge through project work, communities of practice, online learning opportunities and their everyday relationships.
Morrison Hershfield’s solid waste planners are challenged every day with finding responsible and sustainable solutions to help their clients manage solid waste. They help growing communities achieve their waste targets by finding ways to minimize waste and maximize recycling and resource recovery. Then, when the workday is done, our solid waste engineers and planners find ways to reduce impacts to the environment in their own every-day lives.
Seventy-five years ago, three university professors and an established consulting engineer decided to form the engineering practice that is now Morrison Hershfield.
