In an effort to raise awareness about domestic violence, one of our colleagues recently spearheaded the collection of donations for the Sandgate Women’s Shelter of York Region in Sutton West, Ontario.
Morrison Hershfield is a certified Living Wage Employer in British Columbia
BC has one of the highest poverty rates in the country, with low wages as one of the key contributors to child poverty. The goal of the Living Wage Employer Program is to reduce poverty and increase the standard of living in the region. It aims to raise awareness around the cost of living for families, and works with employers to help them become certified. Morrison Hershfield has participated in this program since 2015 as it recognizes our continued commitment to paying fair wages and upholding high work standards for our employees and contractors. Review and recertification is required every year.

Amanda is currently a student at the University of Manitoba pursuing a Master of Science in Civil Engineering with a special interest in bridges and transportation.
