Morrison Hershfield congratulates George Torok, on winning the 2012/2013 Ontario Building Envelope Council (OBEC) Anthony A. Woods Award of Excellence or as it is fondly known, The “Beckie”. The award honours the memory of Anthony (Tony) Woods, a Past President of OBEC who realized that the 'industry' of research, design, construction and rehabilitation of the building envelope did not have a way to recognize the contribution of its members.

The regional awards, presented every two years, celebrate outstanding achievements in steel construction and are presented in three categories for projects demonstrating ingenuity in Architecture, Engineering and Sustainability. Morrison Hershfield took home an award in each of these categories.
